Tzvetana Popova

TzvetanaPOPOVAI am archaeobotanist and I study the charred plants remains and charcoal wood. I work at the Institute of Archaeology in Sofia – Bulgaria. My research focuses on the reconstruction of every day live in the past, I also interested in ancient diet in the Antiquity and Roman time; the role of plants in various sacred rituals, studying micro remains. My contribution to the PLANTCULT project is related to selection of samples for SEM from Bulgarian archaeological sites.
