Tania Valamoti joined partners Hans-Peter Stika and Andreas Heiss at the University of Hohenheim for their annual consortium meeting, together with Ferran Antolin who represented Basel.
Brewing Beer in Bronze Age Greece
One of the new results generated by ERC funded project PLANTCULT, concerns indications for brewing beer in Bronze Age Greece. These were presented in the 17th conference of the IWGP in Paris (July 2016) and a research paper stemming from this presentation has been accepted for publication in Vegetation History and Archaeobotany.

Internal Bread Workshop: discussing experimental parametres, Vienna 8-12 December 2017
An internal workshop is taking place these days in Vienna in order to discuss PLANTCULT's experimental breads. Tania Valamoti and Andreas Heiss are working closely together to discuss experimental variables, best ways for SEM imaging, baking methods and actual bread recipes that will be used.
