I am currently an MA student of Prehistoric Archaeology in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, studying ground stone tools from Koroneia, a prehistoric settlement in the Langadas basin, northern Greece. I have participated in field archaeological projects in Greece, excavating and participating in flotation teams. I have worked as a field archaeologist for the Greek Ministry of Culture (Amyndeon, northern Greece, exc. Dr. P. Chrysostomou). My interest focuses on the dynamic character of ground stone tools and the information given from their analysis regarding different aspects of prehistoric societies. In the PLANTCULT project I take part in the study of the archaeological grinding tools (Koroneia assemblage) and have assisted in the PLANTCULT grinding experiments.
