Archaeologist, Archaeobotanist
Stavroula is a doctoral student of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki focusing on human-nature interaction through the study of prehistoric plant remains. She studied History and Archaeology at the University of Crete. Later she accomplished her MSc on Environmental Archaeology and Palaeoeconomy at University of Sheffield. Her research interests are summarized on Archaeobotany, Prehistoric Economy, Plant and Food Cultural Networks. In PlantCult project she works on the laboratory identification and classification of plant food residues from lake dwellings in the region of Amyntaio, northwestern Greece.
