Ph.D. (Anthropology) University of Texas at Austin 2016.

MSc by research (GIS with Remote Sensing) University of Greenwich 2010.

MSc (Environmental Archaeology and Paleoeconomy) University of Sheffield 2009.

BA, History and Archaeology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki 2007.

As an environmental archaeologist I am interested in changing human-environment relationships shaped by climate, cash cropping and the expansion of intensive agricultural production into semiarid regions. I use microbotanical analysis to investigate ancient agricultural and pastoral economies.

As a Postdoctoral Research Assistant (PLANTCULT) I will conduct sampling and analysis of phytoliths and starch remains extracted from experimental and archaeological grinding tools.
